Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) / Arabian Oil Company (ARAMCO) decided to set up a refinery at Bhatinda in Punjab.  They appointed ABB LUMMUS GLOBAL B.V., the Netherlands to prepare a detailed feasibility report for the total project consisting of crude unloading facility at Mundra, offshore, pipeline, crude oil terminal, land pipeline from Mundra to Bhatinda including pumping stations and refinery.  ABB LUMMUS subsequently engaged our company as the Engineering consultant.

We drew up a report in which was included the design basis, process description, process flow diagram & material balance, equipment summary with brief specifications preliminary piping & instrumentation diagram, pipeline list ,overall plot plan, electric single line diagram (preliminary), bulk material take-off summary, control room layout drawing identification of foreign & indigenous component, capital cost estimate, operation cost including organisation & manpower.
