DAHEJ-GANDHAR-BARODA PIPEINE
M/s Dodsal Ltd. were selected as the Turnkey Contractors by Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd., Baroda for their Dahej-Gandhar-Baroda pipeline project. The project comprised three pipelines between IPCL’s complexes at Dahej and Baroda for the transport of Naphtha, Propylene and Ethylene. The length of the pipelines is 107 kms each.
We were appointed by Dodsal for the detailed design engineering work for the pipeline which included pipe wall thickness, river and road crossings, buoyancy calculations, pig receiver and launcher, cathodic protection system, communication system etc.

JAMNAGAR-LONI PIPELINE
Gas Authority Of India Limited (GAIL) implemented a LPG pipeline system (about 1200 kms) to transport LPG from Jamnagar to various bottling plants located enroute upto Loni. For this project, Punj Lloyd was selected as the turnkey contractor for sections –III & IV and TPPL provided design engineering & related services. The facilities that were installed as part of the pipeline facilities include Receiving Terminals, sectionalizing valve stations, intermediate pumping & pigging stations and tap off terminal. The size of LPG pipeline in these sections is 16 inch and the pipeline length is 430 kms.
We provided design & detailed engineering for the pipeline facilities including SV stations, Receiving Terminals, Tap-off Terminals and associated facilities. We also did the preparation of material requisition / purchase requisition and vendor drawing approval.

EAST WEST GAS PIPELINE OF RGTIL
STEP was appointed by RGTIL for the complete design and detailed engineering work for 10 Nos. of Compressor Stations, 8 Nos. M&R Stations, 3 Nos. of Tie-in Stations along with associated facilities for East West Gas Pipeline Project (1370 Kms). This includes the compressor station at Off-shore Terminal i.e. Sales Gas Compressor Station, which is required to transport 80 MMSCMD.The processed gas from Offshore Terminal (OT) will enter the Originating Station of EWPL, located within OT area. Receiving Terminals (Metering & Regulating Stations) will be located at each customer end. For tie-in with other existing gas pipelines metering and control facilities will be provided at tie-in locations. The utilities viz., power, potable water, service water, fire water and plant air, instrument air etc. will be shared with consumer plant facility at Metering & Regulating stations.

Spurlines of Chainsa - Jhajjar Pipeline Project of GAIL
STEP's scope involved Detail & Residual Engineering for terminals and pipeline system including pipeline route analysis, P&ID Updation, line size verification, pipeline/ piping construction drawing, Piping general arrangement drawings (GAD’s), all intermediate stations, SV stations and TOP’s, City gate Stations, pipe supports, piping isometrics, Piping Stress Analysis, Preparation of design documents, procedures, drawings, MTO’s etc.
The scope of work also includes terminal works at Sultanpur & Neemrana, CGS at Neemrana; SV-1, SV-2, SV-3 stations in Sultanpur-Neemrana line; SV-1 station in Hayatpur-Gurgaon line; Dharuhera TOP & CGS, Bhiwadi/Chopanki TOP station, Bhiwadi CGS, Khushkhera TOP & CGS, Manesar CGS, PRS at Hayatpur in Gurgaon Line, and Gurgaon terminal station.

INTER REFINERY TRANSFER PIPELINE PROJECT OF KNPC
To replace the buried lines with new above ground pipe lines to avoid corrosion. The new pipeline shall be made above ground (except for road crossings) on 20 feet wide pipe rack having two tiers and single tier in the existing corridor. The pipe rack shall be designed keeping provision for installation of an additional tier and cantilevers on either side of each tier for future expansion. For road crossings, the lines shall be installed underground. Coating and wrapping, Sleeves and Cathodic Protections shall be provided for the underground portion.
