BPCL revamped the Catalytic Cracking Unit (CCU) in its Mahul Refinery, Mumbai and set up new LPG and Gasoline Merox units for treating LPG and Gasoline from the originating unit viz. CCU. The capacity of LPG and Gasoline units became 450 tons and 1200 tons respectively per day.

BPCL engaged our company to carry out the HAZOP study, Design & Detailed Engineering, Project Management, provide Procurement Services, supervise the construction and Commission the plant.

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) awarded the Job of Hydrogen Generation Unit, Sulphur Recovery Unit, Sour Water Stripper Unit & Utilities & Offsites for Digboi Refinery Expansion Project to Bharat Heavy Plates & Vessels Ltd., (BHPV) Vizag.

Our Company was retained by BHPV for carrying out the detailed engineering.

Our scope of work for this Project included design and detailed engineering for Piping, Structural, Civil Engineering and Instrumentation including 3-D Modeling and Project Management.

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) awarded the Job of Utilities and Offsites of the Barauni Refinery Expansion Project to M/s Larsen and Toubro Ltd. (L&T) Mumbai. L&T retained our company as their Engineering Sub-contractor for this Project.

Our personnel were deputed to site to carry out pre-engineering survey and a core group was onsite throughout the project to coordinate all work with the  Head office and site.

Our scope of work for this Project included residual process design, detailed engineering and 3-D Modeling of complete Utilities and Offsites including Piping, Equipment, Structural, Civil Instrumentation, Electrical, Procurement assistance and Project Management.

Bongaigaon Refinery and Petrochemcial Ltd. awarded the Job of Automation and Modernization of Instrumentation in Utilities & Offsites & Tank Farm and Loading / Unloading Gantries to our company.

Our scope of work for this Project included Design and Detailed Engineering for all facilities with special consideration to reuse existing system wherever possible, preparation of detailed cost estimates, procurement / tendering services, commissioning, Post Audit Assistance, Documentation and Project Management.

Some of the project facilities include:
· Automation of dispatching system with online transaction handling system, Electronic metering facility for truck /wagon loading gantry
· Radar type automatic tank level Gauging system for 99 tanks.
· Revamping of existing analog/pneumatic instrumentation’s of TTP plant

Northern Refineries Company Ltd., Iraq awarded a contract to Oil  & Gas Service Group Ltd. to carry out the rehabilitation work at the Salahuddin Refinery, Baiji, Iraq.

Our company was awarded the contract for the Engineering services required to carry out this job.

Some of the main tasks undertaken by us for this project included Training of Iraqi Personnel, Consultancy, Health Check of Equipment, Supervise repairs of Equipment, Supervise Boxing-up of equipment, assistance in Pre-commissioning and commissioning.  The Units covered under our scope of work included the Hydrocracker Unit, Hydrogen Unit and Vacuum Distillation Unit.

OMAN REFINERY & PETROCHEMICALS CO. (PROJECTS @ MAF REFINERY)

FEED FOR PROPANE RECOVERY UNIT (PRU)

STEP's scope involved Verification of Basic Engineering Package for PRU, FEED for the PRU (Mounded Pressurized LPG Storage Bullets, LPG transfer and Dispatch facility, associated Utility & Off-site facilities), QRA, Residual engineering services for various Augmentation / Upgradation in the existing refinery units, Cost estimate, Tender document for EPCC Works, Technical support for EPC Bid evaluation stage and during EPC implementation.

The broad features of PRU project includes the following:
• Installation of a Propane Recovery Unit  (139 TPD capacity)
• Installation of LPG storage facilities (Mounded Bullets) 
   a) 5  Nos. 1900 Cu.M capacity each b) 1 No. 700 Cu.M (capacity)
• LPG transfer, Dispatch facility & Installation of asso. utility, off- site facilities
• Integration of the above facilities with the existing Refinery facilities.
• Augmentation / Upgradation in the existing refinery units

DETAILED ENGINEERING FOR DHDS REVAMP PROJECT

STEP's scope involved Residual Process Design, HAZOP, Detailed Engineering Services, Vendor Drawing Review, Preparation of Tender Document for Diesel Hydro Desulphurization unit Revamp Project.

The Revamp Project includes:
• One New Reactor in series with the existing one
• Minor modification in the Cold Separator
• Associated piping and Instrumentation works
